Rosters revealed for US Club Soccer id2 West Regional Training Camp

CHARLESTON, S.C. – After 15 id2 Selection events hosted in the fall and winter, US Club Soccer is now shifting its attention to the next stages of the id2 pathway.

The first of two id2 Regional Training Camps was recently held in Tampa, FL for the East Region, and the second is set to be held for the West Region in Irvine, CA.

This week’s West Region id2 Training Camp is being held January 12-14, and will feature top players from the 2010 age group.

Following the Regional Training Camps, the acclaimed id2 National Selection International Tours will be held in April 2024. The girls delegation travels to Spain, April 5-18, while the boys delegation goes to Portugal, April 10-21. That will conclude the current id2 programming cycle, which targets boys and girls born in 2010.

The id2 Program is a leader in player identification and development, as it provides opportunities for elite athletes to be identified, developed and scouted for inclusion in U.S. Soccer’s youth national team programming. The id2 Program is an Olympic Development Program approved by the United States Olympic Committee and the U.S. Soccer Federation. There is no cost for players to participate or be scouted, and all meals, lodging and gear are provided by US Club Soccer and Nike. This approach to eliminating barriers to entry helps ensure the best players are able to participate.

Here is the progression of id2 programming:
