Richmond Kickers announce TCSC Leadership Series

The Richmond Kickers and The Computer Solution Company (TCSC) are pleased to announce a joint partnership to present the Kickers Leadership Series, an instructional series that will focus on developing leadership skills in Kickers youth soccer players. The venture, which kicks off in September and primarily focuses on the club’s high school and pre-teen athletes, will be led by David Romig II, TCSC President, a John Maxwell Certified Coach, Teacher and Speaker who holds a Masters in Business Administration.

“Leadership development is one of the primary reasons our organization has been so successful,” commented Romig. “The skills necessary to be an effective leader are many of the same skills that our youth need to be successful in school, social settings, and during the early stages of adult development. We are excited to be partnering with the Kickers to provide this valuable information to their players and families.”

TCSC is also one of the presenting sponsors of the Kickers cost-free Academy, which allows the dedicated and talented U16 and U18 Academy players the opportunity to reach the highest level of youth soccer, playing, training and traveling free of charge. Unprecedented in the state of Virginia, the Kickers join 17 other Academy clubs who offer fully funded programs, including the majority of professional clubs in Major League Soccer.

“We are thrilled to partner with TCSC on this unique and worthwhile program,” added Leigh Cowlishaw, the Kickers Director of Soccer. “This program is exactly the type of added value that we believe sets our club apart. We are committed to providing player development both on and off the pitch and this program speaks directly to that commitment.”
