Super Y League reveals 2016 North American Finals structure
(Via Super Y League) – A total of 120 Super Y League teams will compete at the 2016 North American Finals from Dec. 9-13 at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, and the bids to reach the tournament have been revealed.
Group play will take place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, while the semifinals kick off on Monday. The finals will cap off the five-day format on Tuesday.
Teams will be placed into groups of four to compete, and they will play each team in the group once. There will be five game slots each day: 8 a.m., 10 a.m., 12 p.m., 2 p.m., and 4 p.m. Competing in the North American Finals is a great opportunity to be placed in the SYL National Pool for a chance to participate in the USL Experience in 2017.
