Baltimore Celtic SC hires Robert C. Brown as coach, coordinator

Baltimore Celtic Soccer Club has hired Robert C. “Bird” Brown as a head coach and as the club’s Carroll County Coordinator.

“I am excited about joining Carl Delmont, Brandon Quaranta, and one of the premier clubs in the State of Maryland. The Baltimore Celtic Soccer Club is quickly being recognized as one of the best in the country,” said Brown. “Joining Celtic enables me to work with some of the best soccer minds in the area and continue my quest to provide the highest level of soccer training and competition to the young soccer players of Carroll County that began many years ago with the Westminster Wolves Soccer Club and to help spread my life-long love of “the beautiful game.”

Brown is an award-winning coach and player in his own right. A Business Education Teacher and Boys Varsity Soccer Coach at Westminster High School, Brown has been instrumental in the community as both an educator and a coach.

“As we grow Celtic , we are looking for those with experience, love and knowledge of the game , and proven focus on development,” shared Carl Delmont, Owner of Baltimore Celtic Soccer Club. “Bird embodies all of these qualities and more. We look forward to working with him and the most talented players in Carroll County.”
