My name is Maeve Glennon, and I am Senior at Notre Dame de Sion in Kansas City, Missouri.

I play in the Midfield position both defensive and attacking but, I mostly compete in the Attacking-Mid position. What makes me stand out as a potential recruit is that I work hard and respond to coaching and criticism positively. I am competitive on the field – anticipating plays on the field that others may not see, and I am a team player who works well with coaches and teammates.

Some of my proudest academic achievements are receiving Magna Cum Laude or higher in every quarter of the past 2 years, receiving the Sister Winnie Award at my school for displaying exceptional attributes of a Sion graduate, and retaining a 3.9 GPA. I am also a member of the Global Impacts Micro school, where we study the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, visited Kenya in person and published a research paper at the end of last year.

My athletic accomplishments include being named the 2022 JV Soccer MVP, a member of the Varsity 2023 district finalists in soccer, and a member of the 2024 Missouri State Championship team. I also play for the KC Athletics Academy Select 07 NLMC club soccer team – one of the top ranked U17 girls’ team in Kansas. Additionally, I have qualified for state championships in swimming 3 years in a row. In the off season, I work as a Lifeguard and as an Assistant Swim Coach at my local neighborhood pool, and volunteer at various non-profit organizations throughout the year.
