RICHMOND, Va. – This season, 31 ECNL Girls players were selected as 2023-24 Gatorade State High School Players of the Year, awarded to the best high school soccer player in each state.

In addition to the 31 Gatorade State High School Players of the Year, Maddie DiMaria (SLSG Navy) was named the Gatorade National Player of the Year, becoming the first freshman to ever win the honor.

Since 1985, Gatorade has recognized the most outstanding high school student-athletes for their athletic excellence, academic achievement, and exemplary character.
