SEC Soccer Preseason Poll: Arkansas voted as favorite in talent-rich conference

Birmingham, Ala. – Arkansas is the favorite to win the 2024 Southeastern Conference women’s soccer title in voting by the league’s 16 head coaches. Texas, Georgia, South Carolina, and Alabama round out the top five vote-getters.

A record seven SEC teams are ranked in the United Soccer Coaches preseason rankings: Georgia 14th, Arkansas 16th, Texas 17th, Mississippi State 18th, Alabama 20th, South Carolina 21st, and Texas A&M 25th.

The 32nd season of women’s soccer in the SEC begins Thursday, August 15.
