North Carolina FC Youth 2024 Showcase Series ready to host over 1,600 teams

The North Carolina FC Youth Showcase Series is commencing this weekend, with the first of four legs for one of the nation’s largest and most competitive youth soccer tournaments.

In total, nearly 1,600 teams will take part in the flagship event hosted by NCFC Youth, in partnership with visitRaleigh.com. The tournament gets underway from November 9-10 with the Girls Junior Showcase, which will feature 258 teams across the U10-U14 age groups.

The event will roll on with the Boys Junior Showcase from November 16-17, when another 288 teams in the U10-U14 divisions will descend on the Raleigh, N.C. area. All divisions in the Junior Showcases will include three group games for every team, plus a championship match on Sunday.

Following a hiatus which includes the Thanksgiving holiday, the NCFC Showcase Series will resume over the weekend of December 6-8 with the Girls College Showcase. Over 600 teams from the U15-U19 age groups have been accepted to participate in the prestigious showcase, which attracts hundreds of college coaches every year. Once again, this year’s NCFC Youth Girls College Showcase will be played alongside the NCAA College Cup, which takes place at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, N.C. Teams attending the NCFC Showcase will be provided with tickets to attend both NCAA College Cup semifinal matches, which are being held on Friday, December 6.

In addition to game action, players will have opportunities to showcase their individual talents in front of college coaches during the Girls College Showcase Combine held on December 5 at WRAL Soccer Park in Raleigh. The Combine provides athletes with the chance to do drills and compete head-to-head with coaches on hand from a wide range of college programs.

Goalkeepers will have an additional opportunity to get scouted as well, with the Girls Goalkeeper Showcase led by the NCFC Youth Goalkeeping staff. Players will have the chance to participate in fast-paced goalkeeping sessions taking place over the course of Friday and Saturday.

From December 13-15, the Boys College Showcase will take place as the 2024 NCFC Youth Showcase Series comes to a close, alongside the NCAA Men’s College Cup. The 450+ teams attending the Boys College Showcase will be provided access to the NCAA Men’s College Cup semifinals on Friday, December 13 as they begin their own weekend of competition.

Boys prospects will have additional opportunities to showcase their skills as well, at both the College Combine (Friday) and the Goalkeeper Showcase (Friday + Saturday). To view the list of college coaches who have registered to attend the Boys College Showcase so far, click here.

Teams competing at both College Showcase weekends will each play one game per day over the course of three days, in a true showcase format with no championship matches at the end.
