Players That Impressed: ECNL Girls Florida National Event (Winter 2025)
The Winter 2025 ECNL Girls Florida National Event took place over the weekend as some of the top teams in the nation gathered for the event.
ECNL Florida marked the first ECNL National Event of the 2025 calendar year, as college recruiting ramps back up following the dead period. A total of 230 teams across the U16-U18/19 age groups competed in the showcase. (COLLEGE COACHES)

2027
The team captain for Match Fit’s 09 ECNL team, Hanf came up huge in a thrilling 3-3 draw against FC Stars Blue. She scored the pivotal equalizer to complete the comeback late in the game, on a brilliant strike into the upper 90, off an assist from Amiyah Soto. Hanf will be a name to watch moving forward, as she recently earned an invite to NWSL club Gotham FC’s Talent ID Showcase. (HIGHLIGHTS)
Representing the FC Dallas Youth 08 squad, Flores came through in the clutch to help secure a victory against PDA, coming up with a huge save in the waning minutes of the game. Flores was quick on her feet all weekend, and showed great reflexes on some high-powered shot attempts. (HIGHLIGHTS)
Had 5 goals and 3 assists in 3 games at the ECNL Girls Florida National Event. In the 2nd game against Charlotte, Shaw’s SUSA 09 squad was losing 3-0 at halftime. She then had 2 goals and an assist to tie the game, completely taking over in the second half. (HIGHLIGHTS)
The talented center back / center defensive midfielder was highly active throughout the showcase for World Class FC 09, as they went up against some intense competition. Winn was constantly sniffing out runs before they happened, cutting off potential passing lanes and intercepting balls. She played with physicality, coming in strong to dispossess opponents. Morrell helped lead the VDA 09 team to a 3-0-0 record on the weekend. The U.S. Women’s Youth National Team player scored in all 3 games from her attacking midfield position, while also picking up multiple assists. Morrell’s creativity, movement, and game understanding showed why she is one of the top 2027s in the country.

Harper Chapman | Midfielder / Forward
Concorde Fire Platinum 08 (GA)
With her active recruiting window opening up later this year, Chapman made a major statement at ECNL Florida. Under the lights at the ECNL National Selection Game, she scored what proved to be the game-winning goal for the East Team. Chapman struck a wicked, slicing shot which gave the diving goalkeeper no chance to stop, as it cut across the entire frame, inside the right post. Later in the weekend, she followed up with another nice goal for Concorde Fire 08, showing her top-end speed. (HIGHLIGHTS)

Molly Daggs | Goalkeeper
World Class FC 09 (NY)
A promising Class of 2027 goalkeeper who earned All-ECNL New England Conference honors last season, Daggs was extremely active for World Class FC 09 in Florida as they went up against a gauntlet of attacking talent. Daggs held her own against a national powerhouse of an opponent in Solar SC, before a clean sheet effort against Tennessee SC and a strong performance in another defensive battle against Penn Fusion (HIGHLIGHTS)

Alexandra Justiniano | Midfielder
East Meadow SC 09 (NY)
Justiniano provides organization and leadership in the midfielder for her East Meadow SC 09 team. Her defensive track backs and timely actions give her teammates ample time to reorganize, and her strong communication skills allow for them to receive real-time instructions on how to plug gaps in the defense.

Maddie DiMaria | Midfielder
SLSG Navy 08 (MO)
DiMaria led SLSG with 3 goals and 2 assists in a 2-0 victory against FC Alliance, 0-0 draw with defending national champion Penn Fusion, and 4-1 victory against Wilmington Hammerheads. She plays up as an 09. scoring 30 goals and notching 8 assists in 15 league games, as SLSG finished second overall and undefeated with a 13-0-2 record. She also was recently invited to NWSL club KC Current’s preseason camp.

Mia Binkowski | Defender
VDA 08 (VA)
Binkowski and her VDA 09 team finished the event with a perfect 3-0-0 record in Florida, thanks in large part to their lockdown defensive efforts. The 2027 center back showed her speed, strength, and ball winning ability in each of the victories.
2026
Shined all weekend long for Concorde Fire 08 Premier, racking up 25 total saves over the course of 3 games, which included a pair of clean sheet performances. Concorde posted an unbeaten 2-0-1 record at the showcase, with Vann playing a big role between the posts (HIGHLIGHTS)
Defensive clean sheet throughout the showcase with 3 wins and no goals given up. Also, as left outside back, strong offensive contribution with runs up the side and strong both right foot and left foot distribution providing opportunities for scoring. (HIGHLIGHTS)
The Eastern Kentucky University commit contributed to the scoreboard in all three games for Tampa Bay United 08, on a strong 2-1-0 weekend. She had an assist in the first game (3-1 L), scored the two goals in game 2 (2-1 W), and the 2nd and 3rd goal in game 3 (4-0 W). Her two goals in game 2 were a PK after taking a foul in the box and a long 80 yard run of a goal, beating three defenders.

VDA 08 (VA)
The future Washington Husky withstood immense pressure to tally her 11th and 12th consecutive clean sheet appearances for VDA 08. Hurst showed why she’s one of the top-rated Class of 2026 goalkeepers in the country, putting her athleticism and grit on full display against some tough competition. (HIGHLIGHTS)

Jackson stood out as a dynamic and hardworking defensive midfielder for the GSA 08 team, excelling against top opponents like NC Courage. Her exceptional vision, sharp decision-making, and relentless work rate were key to her team’s unbeaten 2-0-1 record. A versatile, two-footed player, Amaya combined aggressive defense with smart, tactical play, consistently commanding the midfield with poise and intensity.
2025
The Class of 2025 Princeton commit was honored as Player of the Game for her outstanding performance representing the East Team in the ECNL National Selection Game. Recupero was stellar as a playmaker in the midfield, making a great pass to assist Blane McElroy (Charlotte SA) on her game-sealing goal.
