Five Class of 2025 recruits sign with the University of Rhode Island

KINGSTON, R.I. – Rhode Island women’s soccer head coach Megan Jessee has announced the signing class for 2025. Five student-athletes will continue their athletic and academic careers in Kingston.

Anna Fletcher || 5′ 6″ || Midfield || Knutsford

Before Rhode Island: Attended Knutsford Academy… Member of the soccer team as a center midfielder and striker… Captained the Manchester United U16… Majoring in Political Science

Megan Jessee on Anna: “We are very excited for Anna to join us. She comes with great experience from her time with the Manchester United Youth Academy. Her experience will add even more to a great midfield group. We are excited for her to contribute to our program and help take the program to a new level.”

Addisen Nicholson || 5′ 10″ || Goalkeeper || Ellington, Conn.

Club: Connecticut Football Club North, 07 Elite Team 2015-2022, 07 ECNL RL Team 2023-2025

Before Rhode Island: Attended Kingswood Oxford High School… Four year member of the soccer team… All Founders League in back-to-back seasos (2023, 2024)… Named All WWNEPSSA in 2024… Earned  All-NEPSAC Honorable Mention in 2023… Kingswood Oxford Girls Varsity Soccer MVP in 2024… Was also a member of the lacrosse team for three years… Member of the Honor Roll

Megan Jessee on Addisen: “We are excited for Addisen to join our team. She is a strong goalkeeper with a lot of potential to develop into a contributor for the program on the field. She will bring more depth to an already strong goalkeeper group.”

Claire O’Neill || 5′ 7″ || Forward || Southington, Conn.

Club: FSA FC ECNL

Before Rhode Island: Attended Southington High School where she was a four-year member of the soccer team, earning four varsity letters… Captained the soccer team for three seasons, 2023, 2024, 2025… Also captained her club soccer team for the last four years… Named Southington Defensive Player of the Year in 2023… Earned All-Conference Honorable Mention in 2023 and 2024… Named both All-Conference and All-State in 2024… ECNL All-Conference in 2022… In the classroom, was a member of the National Honors Society and the World Language Honors Society… National Honor Society Secretary.. Math Olympiads Instructor.

Megan Jessee on Claire: “Claire is an aggressive and dynamic left-footed forward who knows how to score goals. We are excited for her to add even more to a front line that is very good.”

Audra Salvagni || 5′ 3″ || Defender || Baldwinsville, N.Y.

Club: Syracuse Development Academy (11 years), SDA GA 07

Before Rhode Island: Attended Charles W. Baker High School where she spent four years on the varsity soccer team… Also spent two years on the lacrosse team… In the classroom, was a member of the high honor roll all four years and a member of national honor society… Scholar athlete all four years… Earned an AP Scholar Award… Senior and Student Council… Scored 24 career goals while tallying eight assists… Team captain her senior year… Earned the Outstanding Team Player of the Year Award… Three-time First-Team All-League Member ( 2022, 2023, 2024)… Named First Team All-Section 3 Class AAA (2022, 2023, 2024)… First Team All-CNY in 2023 and 2024 after being named Second Team All-CNY in 2022… First Team All-State in 2024… Named the Metro League Player of the Year in 2024.

Megan Jessee on Audra: “Audra is a strong left-footed outside back who likes to get forward in to the attack. She is a solid 1v1 defender that will bring much needed depth to that position. We are excited to see how Audra contributes from day one in this program.

Natalie White || 5′ 8″ || Defender || Carlsbad, Calif.

Club: City SC (13 years)

Before Rhode Island: Attended Carlsbad High School where she was a member of the soccer team all four years.. .Also a member of the the basketball team… Member of the National Charity League… Named All-CIF First Team…Earned the Most Improved Player… Captain of the soccer team her senior year

Megan Jessee on Natalie: “We are excited for Natalie to join our program and add to the depth of our back line. She is an athletic center back that is great defensively, and is very good on the ball that will help start our attacks.”
