U.S. U-15 Boys National Team opens camp with first intrasquad match

(Via U.S. Soccer) – In the first game of the Under-15 Boy’s National Team Festival – an intrasquad event featuring a total of 60 U.S. U-15 Boys National Team players – ‘U.S. World Cup’ defeated their U.S. U-15 teammates on the other squad, ‘U.S. Copa America’, 2-1 as Tonny Temple wreaked havoc offensively.

Copa America struck first with a goal in the 9th minute by Ayo Akinola. Before the first half came to an end, Temple drove the ball toward the net for U.S. World Cup, taking a shot which deflected off a Copa America player, resulting in an own goal to tie the game at halftime.

Shortly after the start of the second half, Temple netted a goal to give his side the 2-1 lead over Copa America.

During the friendly penalty kick shootout, U.S. World Cup capitalized again with a 4-3 win.
