U.S. U-20 Men’s National Team falls to Germany 1-0

CHICAGO (Via U.S. Soccer) – The U.S. Under-20 Men’s National Team fell 1-0 to Germany’s U-20 team in the first match of the Four Nations Tournament, held in Leigh, England.

The match started off with the U-17 MNT conceding an early penalty kick, giving Germany the lead in the 14th minute. The USA then buckled down and played organized and aggressive soccer for the rest of the match. Even after shutting down Germany’s attack and delivering a great team performance, the U-17 MNT was unable to find the back of the net and Germany was able to take home a 1-0 win.
