(Via US Club Soccer) – US Club Soccer has welcomed the South Jersey Soccer League (SJSL) and South Jersey Girls Soccer League (SJGSL), beginning with the 2018-19 season. Both leagues have long-standing history servicing its members in southern New Jersey, and this move signals further commitment to its members, particularly towards a Players First environment.

The SJSL (founded in 1967) and SJGSL (1969) have 100 years of combined experience in youth soccer programming. Both leagues include 8-U through 19-U age groups. While the SJSL features boys programming for its 70 clubs, the SJGSL focuses on girls competitions for its 74 member clubs.

“We are excited to begin a new association with US Club Soccer,” said Bob Cooper, SJSL Vice President, “where the focus will be where it belongs: on the kids and on a love for the game of soccer.”

“The South Jersey Girls Soccer League is very excited about our new partnership with US Club Soccer,” added Heather Talarico, SJGSL Vice President. “Our combined efforts will benefit our players on the pitch and allow them to foster their love for the game. Together, we can continue to improve soccer in South Jersey.”
