Schedule released for 2019 ASIST Tournament Boys Weekend

A total of 393 teams will be competing in the 2019 Arlington Spring Invitational Tournament (ASIST) over the course of two weekends this March in Northern Virginia. The schedule for the Boys Weekend was unveiled Sunday.

The Boys Weekend, which will be held March 1-3, features a field of 204 teams in the U9-U14 age groups. Teams competing in the Boys Weekend represent clubs from Virginia, Maryland, D.C. and New York.

The Girls Weekend, coming up March 8-10, will see 189 teams participate in the U9-U14 age groups. The event will include several Canadian teams, along with U.S. teams from D.C., Maryland, West Virginia and the host state of Virginia.

ASIST is a flagship event of the Arlington Tournament Series, hosted in cooperation with Arlington Soccer Association and the Arlington County Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources. The competition is a US Youth Soccer Sanctioned unrestricted event and open to USSF affiliates.

Games will be played exclusively on synthetic turf fields, allowing the competition to take place in the event of rain or wet ground conditions.
