Schedules released for 2019 Manhattan Kickoff Classic

A total of 492 teams from the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom will compete in one of New York City’s premier youth soccer events, the Manhattan Kickoff Classic Driven by Yokohama, from March 1-3, 2019. The schedule for both the boys and girls brackets has been released.

The boys’ side will feature 306 teams from Canada, the United Kingdom, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Rhode Island and the host state of New York. On the girls’ side, 186 teams representing clubs from Canada, Connecticut, Florida, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Nevada, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.

Age groups range from U13-U19. Manhattan Soccer Club’s flagship tournament features teams from many of the top youth leagues in the country, including the Elite Clubs National League (ECNL), US Youth Soccer National League, Elite Development Program (EDP) and US Club Soccer National Premier Leagues (NPL).

Over 150 college coaches attend the event annually, from NCAA Divisions I, II and III, as well as NAIA, and the junior college and community college ranks.

Games will be played on over 100 all-turf fields throughout New York City, highlighted by 11 fields at the scenic Randall’s Island Park.
