CONWAY, Ark. (Via Oklahoma State University) – Oklahoma State completed a perfect spring exhibition season Sunday with a 3-0 win over Central Arkansas at the Bill Stephens Track/Soccer Complex.
The Cowgirls finished the spring with a 5-0-0 record and posted four shutouts while outscoring their opponents by a 12-1 margin.
Brylee Brasher and Hannah Warner split time in goal for OSU, with Brasher playing the opening half and Warner finishing the game.
Offensively, the Cowgirls got on the board 22:04 into the match. Off a Kim Rodriguez corner kick, Grace Yochum flicked a header towards the goal that the UCA keeper saved but was unable to control. Charmé Morgan was there for the right-footed putback and a 1-0 OSU advantage.
Just 70 seconds later, OSU doubled its lead when Hannah Webb served in a ball from the left flank that Julia Lenhardt finished at the back post.
OSU sealed the win in the second half with an own goal as a UCA defender mishit a cross by Morgan and sent it into the net.
