New Spring High School Soccer National Rankings released

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Via United Soccer Coaches) – United Soccer Coaches and USA TODAY High School Sports released today the fifth regular season polls in the USA TODAY/United Soccer Coaches Super 25 Rankings for boys and girls high school soccer in the spring season.

A familiar face regained the top spot in the girls poll, while the top three teams in the boys poll remained the same.

Dalton High School in Dalton, Ga. continues to sit atop the boys’ poll with an 20-0-0 record. Jenks (Jenks, Okla.) is No. 2 for the second straight week with a 14-0-0 mark, while Kearney (Kearney, Neb.) is third again with a 15-0-0 record. Clover (Clover, S.C.) moved up four spots to No. 4 thanks to a 26-1-0 mark and Briar Woods (Ashburn, Va.) moved up to fifth and sits at 13-0-0 on the year.

Leesville Road (Raleigh, N.C.) moved back into the top spot in the girls poll after dropping to No. 2 last week. They are 20-0-1 on the year. Lambert (Suwanee, Ga.) moved back to No. 2 this week with a 20-0-0 record. Vestavia Hills (Vestavia Hills, Ala.) moved up two spots to third while Marian (Bloomfield Hills, Mich.) and Pinecrest (Southern Pines, N.C.)  are tied for fourth.

The penultimate set of regular season rankings for the spring season will be released Tuesday, May 21.
