SoccerWire Top 100 Youth Soccer Club Rankings
Throughout 2020, a new set of SoccerWire Top 100 Boys and Girls Soccer Clubs lists will be unveiled each month. Boys lists will be published on the second Wednesday of each month, and girls lists will be revealed on the third Wednesday of every month.
The rankings process – as described in detail on Episode 18 of The SoccerWire Podcast – utilizes a formula measuring the overall competitiveness of each club’s top teams in the U13-U19 age groups, along with other key factors such as U.S. Youth National Team call-ups and success in the nation’s most elite events, such as the U.S. Soccer Development Academy Playoffs. Clubs that produce high volumes of professional players and blue chip college soccer prospects are also rewarded in the selection process.
*While our formula is based around on-field performance, other factors such as a club’s facilities and overall infrastructure may have additional consideration in future editions.
