UNLV women’s soccer adds two more recruits for 2021

LAS VEGAS – UNLV women’s soccer’s Jenny Ruiz-Williams has added two more for the fall of 2021, the Rebel head coach announced Monday.

Jaden Terrana, a former local standout, will return home after spending this fall at Rider University, while Torie Reardon will come to Las Vegas from the Pacific Northwest. Both will be eligible to play next fall.

Terrana will join the Rebels after an outstanding prep career at Bishop Gorman High School, where she was a four-year varsity starter. She helped the Gaels to a 90-11-4 record in four seasons, which included back-to-back state championships – the second capping a 28-0 undefeated campaign when she was a junior in 2018-19. Terrana’s name dots the record books at Bishop Gorman as she set new program marks for most career goals (90) and most career assists (84). The forward earned numerous accolades as a four-time honorable mention selection for all-state, all-region and all-league awards. Terrana played her club ball for Las Vegas Sports Academy, where she was the leading scorer on two regional championship and two national championship teams. After originally signing with Rider University out of high school, Terrana’s 2020 fall season was canceled due to the pandemic. She plans on majoring at nursing at UNLV.

Torie Reardon

Reardon, from University Place, Washington, will graduate from Curtis Senior High School this spring. She will be a four-year letterwinner for the Vikings, where she has played both midfield and defense during her prep career. The highly decorated Reardon has earned two first-team all-league selections, an all-area award and an all-state midfield honorable mention nod as well. She will finish out her Viking career this spring after their fall season was postponed. Reardon has played club soccer for the Washington Premier ECNL 03 since 2017, where she was named to the Northwest All-Conference team and was invited to the program’s national training camp. She also plans on majoring in nursing at UNLV.
