Last weekend, 346 ECNL Girls Regional League teams across the U13-U19 age groups competed in ECNL RL Championship events across the country.
Teams competed in five different regions (Central, Northeast, Southeast, Texas, and West) to book their spots in the ECNL Girls Regional League Finals, which will take place July 14-17 in Richmond, Virginia.
Here are some of the top performers from all five ECNL Girls RL events, sorted by graduation year.
2028
Delivered a cracking free kick into the penalty box to provide her Solar SC NTX 2010 squad with the equalizer in the semifinals. She followed it up with another fantastic free kick chance, with her high curving ball finding a teammate for the go-ahead goal. A December 2009 birth year playing up in the 2008 age group, Ryan earned a clean sheet in the opening game against SG1 Soccer Club, and played the final two games with a broken nose sustained during the first half of the second game against FC Dallas. She helped lead her team into the finals, where they came up just short in double OT, but played every minute of action in net, as she has done all season long.

Reese Petronella | Defender
Space Coast United Storm 10 (FL)
With time running out and the game tied during a knockout game against Highland FC, center back Reese Petronella made what proved to be a pivotal defensive play. After an initial shot was saved by Space Coast’s goalkeeper, Petronella positioned herself in front of the goal and blocked the ensuing rebound attempt, keeping the game level at 2-2. Space Coast scored shortly after and won 3-2.
2027
Cassidy Kirkley | Goalkeeper
Space Coast United 08 (FL)
As the starting keeper who plays the first half, Kirkley only gave up 1 goal in 2 games. After a clean sheet in the first game, she stopped several breakaways in the second game to keep her team in it. She was solid in her communication throughout and delivered 2-of-3 punts past midfield.
———————
Kalee Good | Midfielder
KC Scott Gallagher 09 (MO)
A force from her attacking midfield position, Good hat a hat trick against FC Dayton, and followed that up with 2 assists against Libertyville FC. In KCSG’s matchup with Chicago Inter, Good stepped up and drilled her PK attempt in the shootout.
2026
Xoey Tamparong | Goalkeeper
Eagles SC 08 (CA)
Cleared two great corner kicks and the distribution with both her feet was significant to help her 4th-seeded team beat the No. 1 seed Washington Premier in the first round of playoffs. Tamparong essentially served as an extra field player with the amount of pass backs her teammates gave to her.
———————
Lily Miller | Defender
Sting Dallas Royal 08 (TX)
In addition to a strong defensive performance, Miller was in involved in both goals scored by Sting Dallas Royal in their 2-1 victory over Sting Dallas Black in the championship game. She scored the first goal directly off her own corner kick. Her free kick assist to defender Sam Strickler sealed the victory in double OT.
———————
Kate Rees | Defender
Sting Dallas Royal 08 (TX)
Effectively shut down an offensively dominant Sting Dallas Black team in the championship game. Her speed, superior play in 1v1 matchups and slide tackling limited any scoring opportunities for the opponent who previously had scored a combined 11 goals in their prior two games of the weekend.
2025
Earned three huge goals for KC Athletics 2006 in the run to the ECNL RL Group A Championship. The class of 2025 player switches between forward and midfielder, but seems equally comfortable at both spots. While her shooting certainly helps the side, her passing is also a major asset to the team, as she can hit balls into space to teammates on both wings to open up play.
———————
Audrey Amyot | Goalkeeper
GLSA FC 1974 Libertyville 07 (IL)
Delivered a stirring penalty kick save in the semifinals of the Central Division to push GLSA into the finals. ———————
Devin Tracy | Missouri Rush
Missouri Rush Soccer Club 07 (IL)
Blanked a strong attacking side in GLSA in the finals 3-0 to earn the clean sheet and top honors in the Central Division. In the semifinals, she made several key stops down the stretch to preserve the 3-2 win over Ohio Premier.
———————
Grace de Haro | Forward / Midfielder
North Carolina FC 07 (NC)
Netted a brace in the finals to help lift the 2007s to the Southeast Division title. de Haro has the athleticism to bring down high crosses but the technical skills to make a controlled first touch and immediately shift into the attack. While on the field, she is always looking for open space to exploit and can often slip past defenders without them noticing.
———————
Emma Nelson | Forward
Solar SC 06 (TX)
Scored two big goals for Solar in their 6-0 win over FC Westlake. In addition to being a prolific striker, Nelson can also deliver some pinpoint passes as evidenced by her assist in the win. In addition to her work for her club, she was also named to the TGCA Austin All-State team.
———————
Liz Cardwell | Forward
Chicago Inter 2006 (IL)
In the Midwest RL Championship game on Sunday, Cardwell scored within the first 30 seconds of play. The goal proved crucial as the game ended 1-1 and was decided in PKs where Cardwell came through once again as she converted her kick to help Inter reach the ECNL RL Finals in Virginia. Cardwell finished the RL Championships with 4 goals and 2 assists on the weekend.
———————
Abby Costa | Midfielder
Scorpions SC 2007 (MA)
Scored 3 goals and had 1 assist over the three games during the Northeast Championships. In the final against CFC, she was consistently on the ball creating opportunities and played all 80 minutes of an intense match. She converted a key penalty early in the game and assisted on the winning goal.
———————
Addison Huber | Goalkeeper
FC Dallas 07 (TX)
Starred throughout the weekend for FC Dallas 07 during their run to the Texas Championship title, conceding only 2 total goals and making multiple huge PK saves. Following 0-0 draw against Arkansas Rising, Huber made a pair of saves during the decisive PK shootout to vault her team to victory. In the semifinals against DKSC, she made another big-time PK save.
———————
Gianna Wilbur | Defender
FC Dallas 07 (TX)
Wilbur’s 1v1 defending technique and her timely slide tackles helped the team win the Texas Regional Championship. She had her strongest game in the title match which came down to the wire, a 2-1 victory over
West Side Alliance.
———————
Julia Mosikian | Goalkeeper
Slammers FC 07 (CA)
Came through in the clutch for Slammers FC 07 during their West Regional title run, with some big saves in key moments throughout the weekend. Mosikian stepped up with two saves in the decisive PK shootout against Legends FC.
———————
Sophia Nygaard | Defender
Slammers FC 07 (CA)
Kept her team in each game with exceptional individual defensive contributions and teamwork on the back line. As a center back, she held it down and also converted a PK to lead Slammers FC 07 to winning the West Regional title.
2024
Payton Childers | Forward
FC Dayton Elite 06 (OH)
Childers scored all 4 goals for FC Dayton in their 4-1 win over St. Louis-based AFA Fillies 06.
