National champions were crowned on Monday in Richmond, Va. at the ECNL Girls Finals across the U13-U17 age groups.

Winners were determined for the ECNL’s Champions League – the highest level of Club Competition – and the ECNL Regional League Finals, which featured top qualifying teams from the five recent Regional League Championships around the country.

The SLSG Navy 06 squad cemented themselves in the ECNL history books by winning their second consecutive Champions League title, this time at the U17 level. Facing a gauntlet of the nation’s toughest teams, SLSG took down Slammers FC, Internationals SC and ultimately beat Solar SC 4-2 in the title match on Monday behind an outstanding team effort.

Meanwhile, Slammers FC HB Køge is the only club to win two ECNL Champions League titles this season, as they captured both the youngest and the oldest age groups. The U18/19 Slammers HB Køge squad won their championship in San Diego at the ECNL Playoffs, and the U13 team overcame fellow Southern California side MVLA SC in a thrilling title match on Monday.

PDA Blue 09, Michigan Hawks 08 and Solar SC 07 captured the U14, U15 and U16 Champions League trophies, respectively.
