ECNL Girls San Diego National Event Preview: U12-U15 teams set to compete

The ECNL Girls are headed to the West Coast this weekend for ECNL San Diego (Oct. 7-9) at Surf Cup Sports Park in Del Mar, California.

The event will have teams from U12-U15, with many of the U12 and U13 teams making their first appearance in ECNL National Event play. More than 35 clubs and 120 teams will be in action over the weekend in San Diego.

Schedule: Every team is guaranteed three games in three days, playing competition of similar levels from outside of their Conference. U12 teams will play two games on Saturday and one on Sunday. Check the revamped ECNL app for the complete schedule.

Elite Eight: Following their appearance in the quarterfinals at the ECNL Girls Finals, San Juan SC looks to continue their success this season at the U15 age group. They take on Slammers FC HB Køge, Arizona Arsenal, and Utah Royals FC-AZ, this weekend.

Sweet Sixteen: MVLA advanced to the Round of 16 at the U14 age group in the ECNL Girls Playoffs in San Diego over the summer. This weekend they are back in San Diego to take on Pateadores, So Cal Blues, and Legends FC in the U15 age group.
