ALBION CUP Spain

Play professional academy teams from the Basque region of Spain at the ALBION CUP Spain. With the semifinals and finals at Athletic Bilbao’s Lezama training complex, American U16, U17, and U19 teams (boys and girls) play the very best in this unique tournament that immerses them into the culture of Spanish futbol. La Liga and professional academies include:

Over 11 days, play a 4-game minimum in the tournament, one friendly match and train three times, while touring the stadiums and training complexes of La Liga teams Athletic Bilbao and Real Sociedad. There is no tournament in the USA or Europe with this level of competition in every match.

About the Virginia Cannon Cup

The Virginia Cannon Cup is Virginia Soccer Association’s Memorial Day tournament. This year’s tournament will offer tiered divisions of competition to provide an appropriate and competitive environment for all teams. The tournament will host boys and girls teams U9-U19 with games played on turf or Bermuda fields. Clubs interested in bringing several teams to the Virginia Cannon Cup should contact Tournament Co-Directors Alli Trask at [email protected] and Nick Foglesong at [email protected] as soon as possible for discount opportunities.

Each age group will be broken into tiered divisions. The Cannon Cup, is the top bracket for each age group. Age groups will then be broken into Cavalry Division (2nd bracket), and the Bull Run Division (3rd bracket) as needed. The tournament will take place on Saturday and Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. Each team will be guaranteed 3 games over the course of the weekend with champions being named in every division.

Q: Is this a Stay to Play Event?

A: No, teams are free to choose their own hotels.

Q: Where will the games be located?

A: Games will be played primarily in Prince William County. You can find a full list of our facilities at https://www.vsaonline.org/tournaments/field-information

Q: Will coaches with multiple teams be deconflicted?

A:We will do our best to deconflict all coaches. If a coach has multiple teams please make sure their name is entered the same for both teams to make sure it is caught.

College Showcase – for all U16-19 Teams!

The 38th Annual Soccer Blast is presented by Iron Valley United Soccer Club. All games are played at one large 15 field complex in Hershey PA, ideal for clubs and coaches looking for a tournament where every team is at the same location!

• The East Coast Showcase will partner with the ECNL Boys to host one of the best Memorial Day events on the East Coast.
• Partnering with the ECNL Boys Memorial Day Event will ensure hundreds of college coaches in attendance for college recruiting.
• Featuring some of the top natural grass field complexes in the country. Top Brackets of each age group and U15-U19 Showcase games will continue to be played on some of the nation’s finest natural grass complexes, including Striker Park and West Creek.
• The main sponsors of the East Coast Showcase are Markel Corporation, NIKE, Richmond SportsBackers, Richmond Metropolitan Convention and Visitors Bureau, and the Richmond Strikers Soccer Club.
• By partnering with the ECNL Boys Memorial Day Event, the East Coast Showcase will quickly become associated with tournaments such as the Jefferson Cup, Dallas Cup, San Diego Surf Cup, WAGS Women’s Tournament, and Disney College Showcase as one of the five premier North American tournaments in the country.
