CCL Winter Showcase: Top teams roll, others climb in standings
More than 120 U-15 through U-18 teams enjoyed temperatures in the mid-60s for the third and final day of the CCL Winter Showcase on Sunday in Richmond, Va. A wide collection of college coaches from around the region took in the matches which also counted toward the league standings. Several teams were able to complete perfect weekends earning nine points, and others pulled out critical wins over high-ranking opponents to improve their place in the table.

Over 900 ECNL players commit to Division I programs for 2015
The Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) today announced the College Impact of the league's 2015 graduating class, revealing that 90 percent of the ECNL's 1,357 graduating seniors will go on to play college soccer in the fall of this year. In total, 1,203 ECNL athletes will go on to play collegiately with 920 in NCAA Division I programs.
USSDA clubs have 278 college commitments on signing day
National Signing Day took place on Wednesday, Feb. 4, as numerous players in U.S. Soccer’s Development Academy announced their college choices starting this fall. Of the 33 clubs that submitted their Academy college commitments, D.C. United heads the group with 16 players headed to the collegiate ranks. This 33-club group includes 278 college-bound players.
