US Youth Soccer ODP Championships semifinals recap
The 2015 US Youth Soccer Olympic Development Program Championships kicked off Friday at the Reach 11 Sports Complex in Phoenix. Elite Boys and Girls teams in the 1998 and 1999 age groups, from each of the four US Youth Soccer Regions, completed their semi-final matches and set the field for Sunday’s championship and consolation matches.

The national US Youth Soccer Competitive Coaches of the Year award winners are Ryan Dortch of Bellevue, Wash., (Girls) and Mark Ryan of Ashburn, Va., (Boys).
US Youth Soccer hires Christopher Moore as first ever CEO
US Youth Soccer has announced Christopher S. Moore as its new Chief Executive Officer. Moore has more than 10 years of experience in business development and leadership positions, and he has been a proponent of improving health and wellness among the nation’s youth — reaching over 38 million kids in 73,000 schools through GENYOUth’s Fuel up to Play 60 program in partnership with the National Football League and National Dairy Council.
