Alliance Soccer Club announces EDP All-In commitment

Alliance Soccer Club announced it will become an Eastern Development Program (EDP) All-In Club beginning in the 2015-16 season and has committed all top-level teams to the EDP league. Alliance has program offerings at the recreational, youth academy development, and select travel club levels. The mission of Alliance Soccer Club is to provide a comprehensive program.

The program provides advanced youth soccer education, athletic development, and progressively challenging competition in an environment that emphasizes personal and team achievement through commitment and good sportsmanship.

“Our programs prioritize player development over winning at every age and level of play,” said Alliance SC President Jerry Jenkin. “EDP provides a highly competitive league, quality tournaments and increased exposure for our players and members. We are excited to become a member of an organization league that is focused on promoting teams and player’s growth, not club exclusion.”

Alliance Soccer Club’s goal is to achieve technical excellence in all of its soccer programs by committing to a “player first” philosophy. To accomplish this goal, the club strives to ensure Alliance coaches (Jr. Academy, Sr. Academy, Clinic, Recreational, and Travel) are provided with consistent, high quality continuing education programs. EDP supports and commends Alliance SC’s approach to coaching education to ensure the best instruction for the club’s youth players.
