Arizona signs 2025 recruits from Solar SC, San Diego Surf and other strong youth clubs
TUCSON, Ariz. – Arizona Soccer head coach Becca Moros has signed six recruits to her 2025 signing class.
Leilani Cortez-Rameriz, Kyleigh Johnson, Whitney Reinhardt, Mireya Stephenson, Thaleia Tsintikidou, and Amiya Warner will join the Wildcats next fall.
“We’ve recruited a great group of people, players and students in our 2025 class,” head coach Becca Moros said. “They have a mix of all the best attributes: strong leadership skills, high work rate, savvy soccer understanding, and solid technical foundation. They’re a big part of our future, and we can’t wait to have them on the team.”
Leilani Cortez-Ramirez
Midfielder | San Jose, Calif. | James Lick H.S. | ECNL Bay Area Surf
- Two-time ECNL NorCal Conference Champion
- Helped her team place second at the Youth World Gothia Cup in 2023 and 2024
- Invited to the USA National Team U15 Youth Training Camp in 2022
- Participated in the Mexico National Team U15 Training Camps
- Named Sophomore of the Year at James Lick High School
Leilani says: “I chose to attend the University of Arizona because of the beautiful campus, the education it provides, and the possession style that the soccer team plays. Also, the coaches and players were friendly and created a beautiful environment.”
Coach Moros says: “Leilani is a soccer head. She’s versatile and can play several positions, which is partly due to her next level game understanding and superior technical ability.”
Kyleigh Johnson

- Named the District 14-5A Midfielder of the Year her freshman year at Forney High School
- Earned District 14-5A Freshman of the Year honors
- Earned first-team All-Girls Region 2-5A as a junior and honorable mention as a sophomore
- Named to the District 15-5A All-Freshman team
- Earned the 17U USYS National Championship Golden Ball award
Kyleigh says: “I chose to attend the University of Arizona because the campus is beautiful, the coaching staff is very personable and encouraging, and the team seems very close and connected.”
Coach Moros says: “KJ is a speedster. She has wheels for days, and she’s tenacious in the attack. She’ll be a pain for the opposing defenses.”
Whitney Reinhardt

- Earned Region Offensive Player of the Yeat honors her junior year
- Named the AIA 5A Conference Offensive Player of the Year as a junior

- Two-time ECNL first-team All-Conference (2023 and 2024)
Whitney says: “I chose to attend the University of Arizona because I love the school’s atmosphere, the team culture, the amazing coaching staff, and the strong school spirit.”
Coach Moros says: “Whit is a passionate and hardworking midfielder. She has the ability and discipline to go box to box, and she has the skill and creativity to match it.”
Mireya Stephenson

- Named the 7A-2 Region Player of the Year as a junior
- Earned 7A-2 first-team All-Region honors her junior year
- Girls Academy National Talent ID 2022
- Helped Campbell High School to a final four and an elite eight in the 7A State playoffs
Mireya says: “I chose Arizona because I love the team’s playing style and the beauty of the campus. I also love the coaches’ intellectual understanding of the game. I am so excited to learn from them.”
Coach Moros says: “Mireya has great 1v1 ability and service. She can both feed her teammates and finish herself – two great qualities in a goal scorer.”
Thaleia Tsintikidou

- Helped the San Diego Surf advance to ECNL playoffs for four years
- Invited to the International Prospect Academy and played in Spain
- Earned the California State Seal of Biliteracy
Thaleia says: “I chose Arizona because I loved the coaches, the style of play, and the weather.”
Coach Moros says: “Thaleia is a smart and tactically strong outside back. She’s got good foot skills and passing ability, and strong defensive instincts. She brings a lot of quality to everything she does.”
Amiya Warner
Midfielder | Las Vegas, Nev. | Bishop Gorman H.S. | Las Vegas Heat Surf
- 2022-23 first-team ECNL SW Conference U16 honoree
- Named the Best New player for Bishop Gorman High School in 2022-23
Amiya says: “I chose to attend the University of Arizona because the campus is in a great location, which will allow me to balance the intensity of college soccer along with my personal interests. It feels like a place where I can thrive both on and off the field.”
Coach Moros says: “Amiya is a classy soccer player. She’s simple and clean on the ball and a beast in the air, just what we want in a defensive midfielder.”
