Arsenal Soccer Schools to launch year-round program in U.S.

(Via Arsenal Soccer Schools USA) – Summerfuel Sports, Arsenal F.C.’s exclusive Soccer School partner in the USA, announced it reached an agreement with the club to expand its developmental program and open their first permanent Arsenal Soccer Schools Academy in the United States.

Summerfuel Sports will operate the initiative in partnership with Centercourt Sports, a leader in youth sports programming with state-of-the-art facilities based in New Jersey. The launch of the year-round program comes after three years of hosting Arsenal Soccer School Summer camps in cities throughout the United States.

In year one, the Arsenal Soccer School Academy will offer coaching to boys and girls ages 5 to 10 using the same methodology and training that is used at Arsenal F.C. Tryouts for the first season will be held in early May. The new Arsenal Soccer Schools Academy will be located at the recently constructed Centercourt Sports Facility in Mt. Olive, New Jersey.

Arsenal Soccer Schools USA will introduce the playing style and philosophy of Arsenal in the United States by teaching the same methodology and training curriculum as used in London and across all Arsenal soccer schools worldwide. The program will be directed and supervised by a full-time Technical Director who will train local coaches in the Arsenal philosophy. This is the first time an English Premier League club has put down permanent roots in the U.S.

Centercourt Sports Facility in Mt. Olive New Jersey will be the home of the Arsenal Soccer School’s year round program in the US. The sports complex has a 45,000 sq. ft. inflatable seasonal dome that allows for year-round play.

Tryouts for the first Arsenal Soccer Schools Academy in the U.S will be held at Mt. Olive on Monday, May 2nd and Tuesday, May 3rd. Initial rosters will be filled for boys and girls teams in the U6–U10 age categories.
