Baltimore Bays Chelsea sweeps Potomac in only local Development Academy action over weekend

Baltimore Bays Chelsea swept Potomac in the only area Development Academy matches over the Memorial Day holiday weekend.
Bays Chelsea’s Under-16s (3-2-2 Mid-Atlantic Division, 11-8-3 overall) used a lone goal from Babatunji Osifeso in the 12th minute and held off Potomac for a 1-0 win.
In the U-18 matchup, Baltimore Bays Chelsea (6-0-1, 16-4-2) extended its first place lead to seven points over FC Delco after a 3-0 shutout of Potomac.
Christian Wulff opened the scoring for Bays Chelsea in the 12th minute, and sealed the match with second half goals from Richard Greensfelder in the 65th minute and Yaw Amankwa in the 83rd minute.
The two clubs play again this Saturday on the stadium field at McDonogh High School beginning at 1 p.m. for the U-18 game, and 3:30 p.m. for the U-16 game.
