Big Ten Men’s Tournament bracket unveiled after Ohio State wins regular season title

ROSEMONT, Ill. – With the conclusion of the final set of conference matches, the field is set for the 2024 Big Ten Men’s Soccer Tournament. Top-ranked Ohio State claimed the No. 1 seed after the Buckeyes defeated No. 10 ranked Maryland in their final regular season game, winning the Big Ten Regular Season Championship.

The seven-team, single-elimination Big Ten Men’s Soccer Tournament will begin on Thursday, Nov. 7 with the quarterfinals at SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview, Ill. The semifinal round will also take place at SeakGeek Stadium on Nov. 10.

No. 1 Ohio State and No. 16 Indiana shared the 2024 Big Ten championship after finishing the season with matching 7-1-2 conference records. The Buckeyes earned the tournament’s top seed by virtue of a tiebreaker, scoring 28 goals in conference play to 26 for the Hoosiers.

In addition to a share of the regular season championship, the Buckeyes also earned a bye into the semifinal round of the Big Ten Tournament.

The Hoosiers will meet No. 7 seed Michigan at 1 p.m. ET in the first of three quarterfinal matchups on Thursday. The second quarterfinal, scheduled for 3:30 p.m. ET, pits No. 3 Maryland against No. 6 UCLA, with No. 4 Washington and No. 5 Michigan State closing the day’s fixtures with a 6 p.m. ET kickoff.

The winners of Thursday’s first two quarterfinals will meet on Sunday at 3 p.m. ET in the semifinal round, while Ohio State will face the winner of Thursday’s final match on Sunday at 5:30 ET.

The championship match will then be played on Sunday, Nov. 17, at the highest remaining seed.

Both semifinals and the championship match will be televised live on the Big Ten Network and can be streamed via the web, smartphones, tablets and connected devices through the FOX Sports App. The three quarterfinals will be streamed live on BTN’s digital subscription service, B1G+.

This year’s Big Ten Tournament Champion will earn the conference’s automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament.
