Broadcast schedule announced for Dr Pepper Dallas Cup
DALLAS, Texas (Via Dallas Cup) – The Dr Pepper Dallas Cup, the oldest and most prestigious international youth soccer tournament in the United States, has released its broadcast schedule for the 40th edition of the tournament, which will take place from April 14 through April 21.
FloFC will stream 30 Dallas Cup matches throughout the week, including all non-Super Group finals from the U13-U19 age brackets. Univision Deportes Network, the No. 1 Spanish-language cable sports network, will provide national coverage of the 2019 Gordon Jago Super Group and Univision Deportes Super 14s brackets, including the semi-finals and championship matches. A minimum of 39 games will be broadcast at the 2019 Dr Pepper Dallas Cup, the most in tournament history.

The Gordon Jago Super Group opening day triple-header will be streamed live from the Cotton Bowl on Sunday. “ESPN Soccer Today” host Tyler Kern, and Goal and Dallas Morning News’ Jon Arnold will provide play-by-play and commentary during the 3:00pm and 6:30pm matches. All three opening day games will be streamed live from the Cotton Bowl on FloFC.com for free (in front of paywall) and on FloFC’s FaceBook page: @FloFutbol. The 12:30pm game will also be streamed live on FCDallas.com.
The U13-U19 finals will be streamed on FloFC.com from Toyota Stadium in Frisco featuring FC Dallas’ television broadcast team of Mark Followill and Steve Davis.
On Saturday, April 13, two radio stations will broadcast live from the tournament’s headquarters hotel (Crowne Plaza, Addison, TX). KFLC 1270AM/Univision Radio will air a tournament preview show starting at 1:00pm. KTCK-96.7FM/The Ticket’s soccer show, “The KickAround”, will be on location at the Crowne Plaza from 2:00-4:00pm.
The 2019 Dr Pepper Dallas Cup kicks off on Sunday, April 14 with a full day of soccer action at the historic Cotton Bowl Stadium. The marquee game of the opening day triple-header is a clash between the Premier League’s Liverpool FC and defending Super Group champion Tigres at 6:30pm. The day will start at 12:30pm with local side FC Dallas squaring off against Villarreal CF of La Liga. At 3:00pm, last year’s Super Group runner-up Arsenal FC will hit the pitch against Liga MX’s CF Monterrey. The annual “Welcome World” Opening Ceremonies and Parade of Nations, presented by Dallas Sports Commission, featuring all 244 Dr Pepper Dallas Cup teams and referees, hailing from more than 40 countries, will start at 5:00pm. Legendary North American soccer icons Landon Donovan and Luis Hernández “El Matador” will be guests of honor during opening day festivities.
