Brown University men’s soccer program signs four recruits and pair of transfers

Friends of Brown Soccer Head Coaching Chair in Men’s Soccer Chase Wileman has announced six newcomers to the program.

The class includes first-years Timi Browne, Stefano DAgostini, Andre Romo and James Snaith, and transfers Mads Stistrup Petersen (Saint Louis) and Max Pfaffman (St. John’s).

“Welcome Timi, Stefano, Mads, Max, Andre and James to College Hill,” said Wileman. “This is an excellent group of student-athletes we are adding to the Brown community and we look forward to helping them reach their potential on and off the field. We are excited to combine this incoming class with the experience and talent we have coming back it is very exciting. We are all eagerly anticipating preseason training in August!”

Timi Browne

ST/LW | 6’2″ | Atlanta, Ga. | Holy Spirit Preparatory School / Southern Soccer Academy

Andre Romo

James Snaith

Midfielder | 6’0″ | Arlington, Va. | Yorktown High School / D.C. United Academy

Mads Stistrup Petersen

Midfielder/Defender | 6’2″ | Odense, Denmark | Saint Louis / Tietgen Handelsgymnasium

  • Played two seasons for Saint Louis of the A-10
  • Appeared in 13 matches with six starts (2023) with three goals and six assists
  • As a true freshman (2022), appeared in 19 matches with three starts… collected nine points en route to a regular season and A-10 Tournament title
  • Danish Ball Union Youth Cup Champions: Under 15, Under 17, and Under 19

Goalkeeper | 6’2″ | Brooklyn, N.Y. | St. John’s / Met Oval U19

  • Did not appear in a game for the Red Storm (2023)
  • Played club ball with the NYCFC Academy and Met Oval U19 in the MLS Next Academy
  • Picked up Generation Adidas Cup Golden Glove during the U12 tournament in 2017.
