Capital Futbol Club, VSA Heat 98 Blue claim Washington Metropolitan Youth Soccer League titles
Teams representing Capital Futbol Club (CFC) and Virginia Soccer Association (VSA) won the two division champions in the inaugural season of the Washington Metropolitan Youth Soccer League.
U13 Boys Metro League Champions – Capital Futbol Club (CFC): The U-13 Metro League champs also won EDP Division 2, going undefeated with a record of 9-1-0. CFC United Red also won their group in the EDP Cup.
U16 Metro League Champions – VSA Heat 98 Blue: Along with the Metro League title, VSA Heat ’98 Blue won the USYS President’s Cup (Va.) and the Region 1 President’s Cup championship. They will go on to the President’s Cup National Championships, July 9th – 12th in Overland Park, Kansas.
