Capital FC hires former MLS player Judah Cooks as Technical Director
(Via CapitalFC) – CapitalFC has announced the hiring of Judah Cooks as Technical Director of Coaching.
Cooks is well-known in D.C. soccer circles. As a player, he was a 3-time Parade HS-All American; he represented the United States at the U-17 and U-23 levels; was named All-American at University of Maryland; and spent 6 years with D.C. United, including the 1999 MLS Championship team.
On the coaching side, Cooks holds a USSF B License, and has coached locally at DeMatha, D.C. United Academy, and several other local programs designed to bring soccer to the children in D.C. Most recently, he has worked as Director of Coaching at Weston FC in Miami, Florida for the girls high school age group. In this capacity, he designed and led a college track program that helped more than 200 girls obtain their goal of playing college soccer.
“I am super excited to get started with CapitalFC,” Cooks said. “Being born and raised on Capitol Hill make this even more special for me.”
