Creighton men’s soccer adds 3 more recruits ahead of 2019 season
OMAHA, Neb. – Creighton men’s soccer head coach Johnny Torres announced on Friday, July 26 the addition of three student-athletes for the 2019 season. Charles Auguste (Canada), Diego Dutilh (Chile) and Aron Eli Gislason (Iceland) will each join the program and compete for playing time this fall.

-Invited to train during two weeks with the U.S. Pistoiese 1921 professional team in Italy and made debut playing against FC Esperia Viareggio during summer of 2017
-The 2017 winner of the Fonterra-Soprole trophy as Chilean High School Soccer Player of the Year
-Helped lead first place team and earned MVP honors of ISF School Soccer World Cup Chilean classification tournament in 2016
-Ranked third at the ISF School Soccer World Cup with seven goals in eight matches
-Helped Black Rock FC reach the semifinals of the 2019 Dallas Cup with three goals in five games
-Also part of the USL2 team with Black Rock
-Attended Northwood School in Lake Placid, New York while playing for Black Rock FC

The Creighton men’s soccer team reports for the fall season on Aug. 12 and starts training on Aug. 13. The Bluejays will play three preseason exhibition matches, including two at Morrison Stadium (Aug. 21, Missouri State, 7 p.m.; Aug. 24, UIC, 1 p.m.).
Creighton’s regular season home-opener is scheduled for Sept. 6 at 7:30 p.m. against defending national runner-up Akron for the Bluejays’ 2019 Socctoberfest.
