Creighton women’s soccer announces coaching change as Ross Paule departs

OMAHA, Neb. – A head coaching change has been announced for the Creighton women’s soccer program, which has been led by Ross Paule since 2014.

Paule was named the fifth head coach in program history in December of 2014. He won 60 games in nine seasons at the helm, which ranks second in program history, and led the Bluejays to a pair of BIG EAST Tournament appearances. Paule earned BIG EAST Coach of the Year accolades in the 2020 season that was played in the Spring of 2021.

“I am grateful for the hard work and contributions to Creighton women’s soccer from Coach Paule over the past nine years,” said McCormick Endowed Athletic Director Marcus Blossom. “As a Hall of Fame student-athlete on the soccer field, Ross and his family will always be a valued alumni of Creighton University and we wish him the best moving forward.”

Blossom added that a national search for Paule’s replacement would begin immediately.
