Creighton women’s soccer inks three recruits during early signing period
Omaha, Neb. – The Creighton women’s soccer team signed Sydney Drees (Eden Prairie, Minn.), Jess Torres (Puerto Rico) and Reiss Wood (Overland Park, Kan.) for the 2022 season during the November signing period.
“I am very excited to add the pieces we need to continue our progress as a team and program,” said head coach Ross Paule. “I look forward to coaching these young women to grow and develop.”
A four-year starter for Benilde St. Margaret’s High School, Drees earned All-State in both her junior and senior seasons. A team captain for the Red Knights, Sydney played club soccer for MTA ECNL. She also has some familiarity with the Creighton campus as her brother, Dylan, is a sophomore for the Bluejay baseball team.
