Dallas Cup Day 2 U13-U19 Recap
(Via Dallas Cup) – The Dallas Cup continued Monday with Day 2 in the U13 through U19 age groups. See below for a recap of the action.

Under 13
Bracket A
Seven goals were scored in the first half of today’s match up between Tigres and Club Ohio U13 Green at MoneyGram Park. Tigres led at halftime 4-3, and were able to secure the win in the second half with goals from Leonardo Flores and Alexis Ruiz to bring the final score to 6-3 in Tigres favor.
In the other Bracket A game, a pair of goals from TSF Academy’s Luca Campbell helped his team erase a one goal deficit, and led his team to a 2-1 victory over Odyssey SC 03. Odyssey SC’s goal was scored by Colby Sessums.
Bracket C
U13 Pre Academy North Cup earned a narrow victory over FC Dallas Youth 03B Premier in a match that ended 1-0. Oliver Akintade scored the goal that would be the difference in the match in the 20th minute.
Bracket D
At Richland College, FC Golden State PDA 2003 defeated Mexico’s Club Mana, 2-0. Connor Reis scored in the 5th minute to give FC Golden State the early lead. The match remained 1-0 until Gavin Chagnon tacked on an insurance goal in the 57th minute.

Under 14
Bracket A
FC Dallas Youth 02B Central secured a victory against Angeles Soccer Elite U14. In the 32nd minute, FC Dallas’ Kevin Adolfo was able to find the back of the net and that was all they needed as the match ended 1-0.
Bracket D
Chicago Magic PSG U14 faced off against Rush Canada today at MoneyGram Park. Chicago Magic’s Giovanni Boulet got the scoring going as he tallied a goal in the 34th minute. Teammate, Gilberto Gomez, scored another goal in the 39th minute and the match ended 2-0.
FC Golden State Black started off hot against FC Dallas U13 Academy as they scored three goals in the first twenty minutes (Jasper Winslow 13’; Esteban Ortiz 15’; Diego Lopez-Rosales 19’). However, FC Dallas clawed their way back to make the game interesting. They got a pair of goals from Dante Sealy in the 29th and 49th minute, but were unable to net the equalizer. The match ended 3-2 in favor of FC Golden State.
Bracket E
Team Challenger FC 01 Black defeated Club Mana 5-2. A hat-trick from Julian Pellegrini and a pair of goals from Kyle Folds paced the high-powered attack.
Bracket F
A very entertaining match took place between Club Dolphin S.D. and La Roca FC Premier. With the match tied 1-1, Club Dolphin’s Alan Tijer scored in the final minute of the game. La Roca FC got a goal of their own from Bode Davis in stoppage time to salvage a 2-2 draw.
Under 15
Bracket C
Bracket C had some low scoring action today on the pitch. Dallas Texans U14 mustered a 1-0 victory over Musc KC Fusion Academy thanks to a goal from Anthony Perea in the 53rd minute. At MoneyGram Park, Maebashi FC U15 and AC Brea B00 each earned a point in the standings as neither side was able to get on the scoreboard in this 0-0 draw.
Bracket D
Carlsbad Elite overcame a two goal deficit to come back and win against SKHY FC U15 from Trinidad and Tobago. Three second half goals scored by Jake Aaknes, Angel Flores, and Cole Simes helped Carlbad Elite overcome the early deficit, and they were able to hold on to the lead for a 3-2 victory.
Bracket F
In a battle between two teams from Texas, Lonestar SC U14 USSDA secured a 2-0 win over Houstonians FC 2001. Axel Picazo and Grant Vernon each scored in the first ten minutes of the match.

Under 16
Bracket C
Thanks to two second half goals scored by Eric Olaguir and Alejandro Jimenex, Rio Rapids SC overcame a one goal deficit to beat El Semillero Escuela de Futbol, 2-1. Jose Carrillo scored the lone goal for the Bolivian side in the 33rd minute.
Bracket E
La Premier FC earned three points with a 2-1 win over FC Dallas U15 Academy. La Premier FC’s Bryan Perez had a big day scoring two goals in the match, including the game winner in the 69th minute.
Bracket F
AVFC won their match on Monday against Paso del Norte FC Dallas El Paso. AVFC scored first with a goal from Luis Garcia in the 32nd minute. Paso del Norte FC Dallas El Paso answered with a goal from Luis Moreno in the 45th minute. Garcia’s day was not over yet though as he also scored the game deciding goal in the 66th minute. The match ended 2-1.
California’s Marin FC 00 Blue earned a 1-0 victory over Club Mana. Michael Glasser’s goal in the 25th minute would be enough to get his club the win.
Under 17
Bracket A
New York SC B98 defeated Solar Chelsea 99B Red, 2-0 with the help of two goals by Jack Beer in the 22nd and 90th minute.
Bracket B
Florida’s Gulf Coast Texans 99 Boys notched a 2-2 draw against New Jersey side, TSF Academy 98/99B. Gulf Coast Texans’ kicked off the scoring in the 7th minute with a goal scored by Shawn Cavasos. TSF Aacdemy then went on to score two unanswered goals (Quinn Baity 28’; Brandon Fernandes 86’). Despite taking the late lead, TSF Academy conceded a goal in the 88th minute from Ryan Gonzalez, and that is how the match would end.
Bracket C
Maryland’s Pipeline SC Black matched up against FC Dallas Youth 99B Premier out at Richland College. In the 5th minute, Pipeline SC’s Christopher Carroll got the scoring going. His Pipeline teammate, Mitchell Love, scored a late goal in the 81st minute to double the lead, 2-0. FC Dallas got a late consolation goal from Dorihan Funga-Mukaba, as the match ended 2-1.
Bracket D
IMG Academy U16B beat Richmond Hill Raiders 1999, 3-2. In this back and forth match, IMG Academy never had the lead until late when Michael Saks broke the lead in the 86th minute and earned his team three points in the standings.
Super 17s
Bracket B
Loudoun SC 98 Red defeated Japan’s Maebashi FC, 3-2. Maebashi FC took a 2-1 lead into the half thanks to goals from Syuya Arai and Hayato Shiozawa. Early in the second half, Loudoun’s Giovanni Vasquez tied up the game (47’). This back and forth match was settled when Loudoun’s Emin Karic broke through in the 73rd minute and scored.
Bracket C
FC Golden State BU 16 earned another three points in the standings as they defeated Toronto Lynx SC. The game was scoreless until late, but in the 78th minute, FC Golden State’s Issa Badawiya scored to put his team ahead. The match ended 1-0.
Under 19
Bracket A
LFC Foundation got a win against New Jersey’s TSF Academy X. The match was scoreless until the 84th minute when Samuel Adeniran found the back of the net. The match ended at that score, 1-0.
Bracket B
Cedar Stars Academy Newark defeated Birmingham City FC COE, 2-0. Cedar Stars Academy benefited from a pair of goals scored by #10, Victor Villagomez Salas, in the 51st and 62nd minute.
Bracket D
Futsoc Enigma defeated England’s Knowsley Youth 3-2 in what was a entertaining match. Knowsley Youth took the lead at two different points in the match, but Futsoc Enigma got the final say when they got a goal from Francisco Nicolaris in the 77th minute to break a 2-2 tie.

Bracket A
At Richland College, Fulham FC and the U-20 US Men’s National Team squared off. USA struck first in the 17th minute, as the ball fell on the right foot of Emmanuel Sabbi and he ripped the ball in the back of the net. But the lead didn’t last long as just a minute later, a perfect cross into the box found the head of Fulham’s Stephen Humphrys who directed the ball into the back of the net. The match remained level until the 86th minute when Fulham’s Elijah Adebayo broke through and slid the ball past the U.S. keeper for the game winning goal.
Bracket B
Bracket B featured a game between Everton FC and Kyoto Sanga. Miko Virtanen scored in the 11th minute to give the English side an early 1-0 lead. They carried the lead into the half, but Sanga equalized in the 62nd minute with a goal from Kosuke Tanaka. Everton did not wait long to take the lead once again. Everton striker, Delial Brewster, scored in the 72nd minute and that would be the final mark on the score sheet as the match ended 2-1 in favor of Everton FC.
Bracket C
Fluminense FC continued their strong start in the Super Group with a win on Monday over Middlesbrough FC. The match was scoreless until late in the first half when Derek Ribeiro found the back of the net in the 41st minute. The match remained 1-0 until the 88th minute when Fluminense’s Pedro Henrique Pimentel scored to seal the deal for the Brazilian side. The match ended 2-0.
