Dallas Cup enters multi-year partnership with Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt

Dallas Cup and Eintracht Frankfurt of the Bundesliga have inked a new multi-year collaborative partnership.

As part of the new partnership, the two sides will engage in joint projects both on and off the pitch to support the sporting and developmental needs of both organizations.

Eintracht Frankfurt has one of the richest Dallas Cup histories of any club, playing in the tournament on fifteen occasions and winning five “Boot and Ball” trophies, including the 2011 Super Group. Prior to the cancellation of the tournament in 2020, The Eagles had played in every Dallas Cup since 2006. Eintracht Frankfurt will continue to bring teams to the tournament as part of the new partnership.

Furthermore, Dallas Cup and Eintracht Frankfurt will jointly develop activities to enrich the tournament experience, such as coaching seminars and clinics during tournament week. Eintracht Frankfurt will also take part in DFW community outreach opportunities like visits to children’s hospitals, advocacy centers, and local schools.

At the same time, Eintracht Frankfurt will assist Dallas Cup with the fostering of relationships with clubs and other sporting organizations in Europe and other areas abroad.

Eintracht Frankfurt’s Head of Sports Projects, Americas, Armin Kraaz, will help manage the partnership. Kraaz will serve as a tournament ambassador, helping identify opportunities within the sport to further develop both brands.

The 2021 Dallas Cup concluded on April 4th. In total, twelve new champions were crowned, including the newly formed girls brackets in the Dallas Cup Girls Invitational. The countdown to the 2022 Dallas Cup has begun as we look to welcome back Eintracht Frankfurt and our other friends from abroad next spring.
