DC Stoddert names Jennifer Gootman as Executive Director
(Via DC Stoddert) – Jennifer Gootman has been named as DC Stoddert’s new Executive Director.
Gootman has nearly a decade of experience with DC Stoddert. She has served on the Board for five years on both the Recreational and Travel Advisory Committes. Gootman was recognized as DC Stoddert volunteer of the year in 2012, and was honored with Special Recognition for Service to the club in 2015.
Currently, Gootman is – and has been for eight years – an Age Group Commissioner in the Recreational Program, a Recreational team manager, and a Travel team manager. Additionally, Gootman has been serving as the club’s Interim Executive Director.
In addition to her Stoddert experience, Gootman has previously worked in senior positions within various non-profit and government organizations on public policy and issues pertaining to children, youth, and families. In these roles, she has secured large foundation grants, oversaw multi-million dollar budgets, ran programs, executed marketing campaigns, and managed teams of staff and volunteers.
