Dev. Academy: U-15/16 Texans Houston spring upset; routs for RSL AZ, Solar Chelsea U-17/18s

Texans SC Houston pulled off the upset Sunday, defeating previously unbeaten Dallas Texans 2-0 in U.S. Soccer Development Academy Under-15/16 action.
With goals from Bryan Estrada in the 10th minute and Emmanuel Usen in the 80th, Texans SC Houston ended Dallas Texans’ 19-match unbeaten string to start the season.
Dallas Texans (12-1-7, 10-1-4 Texas Division) retain a seven-point lead in the Central Conference, Texas Division standings over Texans SC Houston (11-6-4, 8-5-3 Texas Division), who are all alone in second place ahead of FC Dallas (8-4-8, 6-3-6 Texas Division) and Solar Chelsea SC (9-4-8, 6-2-6, Texas Division), who are tied for third.
FC Dallas picked up four points on the weekend, tying Sporting Kansas City 2-2 Friday and defeating Indiana United Fire Academy 3-2 Sunday. Abdulraham Yassine scored twice for FC Dallas in the tie, twice rallying his team from one-goal deficits.
In West Conference action Saturday, Real Salt Lake AZ’s Andrew Brody tallied a hat-trick in a 4-0 win over Crossfire Premier. Trevor Hyman scored RSL AZ’s other goal. Meanwhile, Vancouver Whitecaps SC shutout San Jose Earthquakes 3-0 behind goals from Jordan Hayes, Carlos Patino and Mitch Piraux, and Arsenal FC pulled out a 4-3 win over Chivas USA.
In other scores from U-15/16 play: Pateadores defeated California Development Academy 2-0, while Texas Rush (3-9-4, 3-5-3 Texas Division) beat Houston Dynamo (5-12-3, 4-8-3 Texas Division) 1-0. Andromeda (2-15-5, 2-8-5 Texas Division) dropped two matches over the weekend, falling 2-0 to Crew Soccer Academy Saturday and 2-1 to Internationals Sunday. Internationals (2-2-1, 0-0-0 Great Lakes Division) lost its opening match of the weekend to Solar Chelsea SC (9-4-8, 6-2-6 Texas Division) 4-1. On Sunday, Crew Soccer Academy (4-0-1, 0-0-0 Great Lakes Division) and Solar Chelsea SC played to a scoreless draw.
U-17/18s
Real Salt Lake AZ (7-6-4, 3-1-3 SoCal Division) used a four-goal performance from Maikon Orellana to push past Crossfire Premier (7-6-5, 4-4-2 Northwest Division) 5-0. Orellana has a team-leading 10 goals on the season.
Solar Chelsea SC (13-4-4, 8-4-2 Texas Division) had the largest scoreline of the weekend, posting a 7-0 shutout of Internationals of Ohio (4-1-0, 0-0-0 Great Lakes Division) Saturday. Solar Chelsea SC played to a scoreless tie Sunday with Crew Soccer Academy (4-0-1, 0-0-0 Great Lakes Division). Internationals managed to bounce back Sunday, getting a 1-0 win over Andromeda (4-14-4, 2-9-4 Texas Division).
