District ODP player pools announced for Northern Virginia

The Virginia Youth Soccer Association (VYSA) continued its District ODP roster pool announcements for the 2020-2021 season, with the unveiling of the North District selections.

North District ODP Roster Pools: Boys | Girls

Boys and girls selections for the following District ODP roster pools were previously released: Southeast (VA Beach: Boys | Girls) and West Central (Charlottesville: Boys | Girls). Boys rosters are also available for the Central District (Richmond).

Additional rosters will be announced in the coming weeks for the West District (Roanoke), as tryouts continue this month.

In total, VYSA’s District ODP comprises five districts spread throughout the state. Once started, the district pools feature seven training sessions. Players can also be added to the district pool, at any time, through the scouting of games.

The last two training sessions in the district pool are called inter-district scrimmages. These events are held at the Publix Virginia Soccer Training Center on two separate weekends. From these scrimmages, the state pool is selected by the state coaching staff.
