DPL celebrates over 60 players moving onto the college level in 2022

The Development Player League (DPL) is celebrating its graduating class of 2022, which currently features over 60 players that have committed to play soccer at the college level.

As the 2021-2022 season continues, more players are expected to continue announcing their college decisions across the DPL’s eight conferences nationwide.

“The Class of 2022 has shown it’s a great place for players aspiring to play college soccer,” said DPL Commissioner Mary Frances Monroe. “The success of these young ladies paves the way for others to follow. College coaches understand that there are players in every corner of our country that have the ability and they acknowledge the role the DPL Clubs are playing in their identification and development.”

With National Showcase Events scheduled for Jan 6-9 (West Palm Beach, FL), April 29-May 1 (Norco, CA) and June 21-26 (Dallas, TX), the all-girls league will continue to see its players presented with opportunities to compete in front of college coaches throughout this season and beyond.
