ECNL Boys Regional League – Carolinas to launch in the fall

RICHMOND, VA – The ECNL Boys has announced the launch of the ECNL Boys Regional League – Carolinas.
The league will welcome teams from the eight current ECNL Boys Mid-Atlantic Conference members located in North Carolina and South Carolina, servicing the deep pool of talent from those clubs and enhancing individual player progression within each club.
“The ECNL Boys Regional Leagues facilitate more club connectivity between levels of play and provide a path for more players within each member club to reach their fullest potential,” said ECNL Boys Commissioner Jason Kutney. “The platform will offer an excellent source of additional competition that controls travel, while also allowing club directors to manage player movement to maximize development.”
The ECNL Boys Regional League – Carolinas will include competition at six age groups from U13 to U18/19, with teams coming from eight member clubs:
CESA | Charlotte Independence North |
South Carolina United | Charlotte Independence South |
Wilmington Hammerheads | North Carolina FC |
NC Fusion | Charlotte Soccer Academy |
This is the second Regional League announced for the 2020-2021 season, with the ECNL Boys Regional League – Florida announced last week. The season will kick off in August, and qualifying teams will meet in a Regional League post-season championship.
