ECNL Boys South Carolina National Event set to feature 230 teams

The ECNL Boys are headed to the Palmetto State this weekend for ECNL South Carolina (December 6-8). The three day event will see 230 teams from the U16-U18/19 age groups in action.

The weekend will be highlighted by Friday night’s Continental Tire ECNL National Selection Game. The game will kickoff at 6:00 PM from Field #1 at MeSA Soccer Complex and can be live streamed here.

Three Things to Know

1. Last year’s U15 ECNL National Champions South Carolina Surf are in action this weekend in their home state. They take on Beach FC (VA), Richmond United, and Dallas Texans Academy.

2. Florida Kraze is a perfect 8-0 in the Florida Conference’s 07/06 age group, as they hope to make another run to the ECNL National Championship Game this season. They take on Charlotte SA Academy, World Class FC, and Lonestar SC Red.

3. NTH-NASA leads the way in the Southeast Conference in the 08 age group with a 12-2-2 record. This weekend in South Carolina they face off against Chattanooga Red Wolves SC, Solar SC, and Florida West FC.

Continental Tire NSG Rosters: The Continental Tire ECNL National Selection Games are “all-star” matches that bring top players at each regular season ECNL National Event together for representative competition on the first day of the event. They are one component of the ECNL National Selection Program, which encompasses all player identification and development programs within the league.

Players were selected for the games by ECNL Player Identification staff through a combination of scouting and recommendations based on performances over the past several months. These athletes will not compete for their clubs on this day in order to properly rest and prepare for the National Selection Game.
