ECNL Boys Super Cup Events set for 2024-25 season, on East Coast and West Coast

RICHMOND, Va. – The ECNL has announced the dates and format for the 2024-2025 ECNL Boys Super Cup Events, with one event on the East Coast this winter and one event on the West Coast this spring.

The ECNL Boys East Coast Super Cup and ECNL Boys West Coast Super Cup will each feature eight of the top clubs from coastal conferences in an exciting and unique competition that will provide high-profile recruiting events for top-performing clubs and players.

ECNL Boys East Coast Super Cup

The East Coast Super Cup will feature eight top clubs from the East Coast based on 2023-24 ECNL Boys regular season standings in the U15-U18/19 age groups. Two clubs from each of the Florida Conference, Mid-Atlantic Conference, Northeast Conference, and Southeast Conference have qualified through their overall conference performance last season:

Florida Conference: Florida Kraze, Florida Premier
Mid-Atlantic Conference: NCFC Youth Academy, Beach FC (VA)
Northeast Conference: World Class, Pipeline SC
Southeast Conference: NTH-NASA, UFA

Each club will bring one team for the event, comprised of top players from the club across the U15-U18/19 age groups, and the teams will meet during the NCAA College Cup in Raleigh, NC, (December 13-15) for an ‘Elite 8’ style knockout tournament to be played over three days.  The two finalist teams will compete for the East Coast Super Cup Championship on Sunday, December 15.

Day 1, Dec 13: Elite 8 matches
Day 2, Dec 14: Final 4 and Placement matches
Day 3, Dec 15: East Coast Super Cup Championship

The ECNL Boys East Coast Super Cup will be held simultaneously with the visitRaleigh.com Boys College Showcase and will welcome a significant number of college scouts, as this is the only location in the country that can be scouted during the NCAA Men’s College Cup.

ECNL Boys West Coast Super Cup

The ECNL Boys West Coast Super Cup will feature the eight highest-performing clubs on the West Coast from the ECNL Boys based upon 2023-24 regular season standings in the U15-U18/19 age groups.  Three clubs from the Southwest Conference, two clubs from the Northern Cal Conference, two clubs from the Northwest Conference, and one club from the Mountain Conference have qualified for the event:

Southwest: San Diego Surf, Legends FC, LAFC So Cal
Northern Cal: Davis Legacy, Mustang SC
Northwest: Seattle United, XF Academy
Mountain: Utah Avalanche

Each qualifying club will form one team for the event, comprised of top players from that club across the U15-U18/19 age groups. These eight teams will compete April 5-6, 2025 during the ECNL Battle of the Southwest at Silverlakes Sports Complex in Norco, CA.

Each team will be guaranteed four mini-games (2×25 minute halves) over the two days, including three group stage games. The top team from each group will advance to the Championship, while the other six teams will play a consolation placement match.

The ECNL Boys Super Cup is designed to reward top performing clubs in ECNL Boys conferences with additional unique competition and showcasing opportunities.  In the 2025-2026 season the platform will expand to include an ECNL Boys Central Super Cup, in addition to the East Coast and West Coast events, so that every club in the ECNL Boys will have the opportunity to qualify for one Super Cup event.
