ECNL College Impact 2018 – Atlantic Coast Conference

RICHMOND, VA (Via ECNL) – For the fourth consecutive year, ECNL Alums constitute the majority of women’s collegiate soccer players in the ACC. In 2018, ECNL Alums make up 63% of the entire ACC in 2018, and almost 70% of the conference’s individual honorees.

The ECNL College Impact catalogs the major impact ECNL Alums have on collegiate women’s soccer conferences across the country every year.

The ECNL College Impact for the ACC Conference includes all players currently active on ACC rosters:

• 234 ECNL Alums are currently playing in the ACC Conference – 63% of the total players in the ACC.
• ACC Midfielder of the Year (Sam Coffey) is an ECNL Alum.
• There are 67 ECNL Alums in the 2018 ACC freshman class, over 64% of the class.
• 10 out of the 11 2018 ACC All-Freshman Team are ECNL Alums and 68% of the players on the 2018 ACC First, Second and Third Teams are ECNL Alums.

The Atlantic Athletic Conference includes Boston College, Clemson University, Duke University, Florida State University, University of Louisville, University of Miami, North Carolina State University, University of Pittsburgh, University of North Carolina, University of Virginia, Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and Wake Forest University.
