ECNL Girls Regional League Selection Game rosters set ahead of Florida Event

The ECNL Girls Regional League is off to Florida this weekend for ECNL Regional League Florida (January 10-12) at Seminole Soccer Complex and Sylvan Lake Park. The three day event will feature 170 teams from the U17-U18/19 age groups.

The weekend will be highlighted by Friday night’s Continental Tire ECNL Regional League Selection Game. The game will kickoff at 6:30 PM from the Stadium Field at Seminole Soccer Complex and can be live streamed here.

Three Things to Know

1. Team Boca leads the way in the ECNL Regional League – Florida 07/06 South Division with an undefeated 10-0-1 record. This weekend they face off against Scorpions SC, GSA, and Richmond Strikers, as they look to keep their unbeaten run going.

2. Sunrise Surf is top of the table in the ECNL Regional League – Florida 08 South Division with a 10-1 record. They take on New England Surf, Pittsburgh Riverhounds, and SUSA FC in Florida.

3. Coastal Rush’s unbeaten 9-0-1 start has them at the top of the table in the ECNL Regional League – Florida 08 North Division. This weekend in Florida they will take on Arlington Soccer, Ohio Elite SA, and Alabama FC.

Continental Tire RLSG Rosters: The Continental Tire ECNL Regional League Selection Games are “all-star” matches that bring top players at each regular season ECNL Regional League Event together for representative competition on the first day of the event. They are one component of the ECNL Regional League Selection Program, which encompasses all player identification and development programs within the league.

Players were selected for the games by ECNL Player Identification staff through a combination of scouting and recommendations based on performances over the past several months. These athletes will not compete for their clubs on this day in order to properly rest and prepare for the Regional League Selection Game.
