Elite Academy League enters strategic partnership with Jungo Sports
The Elite Academy League (EA) has announced a strategic partnership with Jungo Sports, which will bring technology to the league’s member clubs in the areas of talent identification and college placement. Jungo’s software connects soccer players, clubs and college programs all on one platform.
Through the partnership, EA members will have access to Jungo’s student-athlete youth development and college placement application and software platform focused on connecting the student athlete with the appropriate schools of interest. The EA-Jungo relationship will help support this connection with Jungo Sports being the league’s Talent ID and College Placement partner.
Talent ID events will provide the top players in the EA with an elite training environment and high-level competition. The Jungo app will be used as the nomination and selection tool for the Talent ID program. The EA will host Conference Talent ID events showcasing the top players in each conference, leading to player invitations to the EA National Talent ID event where USYNT scouts and college coaches nationwide will be invited for player evaluation and consideration.
“Jungo will give us the ability to bring players to the forefront of the league and highlight the talent of the EA and put them in the spotlight,” said Noah Gins, EA National Chair. “We are very excited to be partnering with such innovation and technology.”
“Innovation and collaboration is at the heart of this partnership,” Gins continued. “We greatly appreciate the already great minds at the table to help the EA with player Identification and resources to get players exposed.”
The Jungo partnership goes beyond Talent ID, as they are investing in all of the EA players’ college placement process. Through Jungo’s player-profile feature, EA players can receive real-time ratings and feedback from trusted coaches, while allowing discovery from scouts and college coaches.
”The Jungo platform connects the Elite Academy and member clubs, supporting EA coaches by expanding their ability to identify and recommend any EA player to Talent ID and college programs,” said Ted Douglass, Co-Founder Jungo Sports.
The Jungo app will also recommend colleges to the players based on the level of play derived from their rating, self-identified needs and wants, as well as from coaches’ recommendations.
“We look forward to supporting Elite Academy programs and clubs, enhancing connections and promoting the outstanding talent in the EA to college coaches nationwide.” Michael Mollay, Co-Founder Jungo Sports.
