FC Dallas Academy teams earn weekend sweep vs. Solar Chelsea SC

FRISCO, TX (Via FC Dallas Academy) – The three FC Dallas Academy teams in action this past weekend went a perfect 3-0-0 against Solar Chelsea SC, outscoring their opponents 13 to 1.

The FCD U-18s, U-16s and U-14s all played at Texas Woman’s University and came away with three wins on Saturday. The U-15s and U-13s were scheduled to play their Solar Chelsea SC counterparts on Sunday, but both games were rained out.

The U-18s started the day with a 1-0 win with a goal by forward Giovani Montesdeoca. This result puts them second in the Central U-17/18 Conference with 45 points, and are the fourth seed in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy playoffs.

On the second match, the U-16s won 5-1 with goals by Javier Barajas, Jommar Reyes, Eric Romero, Brandon Servania and Mandel Steward. With the win, the team is leading the Central U-15/16 Conference with 54 points and are currently the top seed for the playoffs.

The U-14s closed the day with a 7-0 win. Johan Gomez, Julian Hinojosa, Adrian Munoz, Bryan Reynolds (2), Harper Simmons and Nathan Toledo were the scorers on the day and finished out the FC Dallas sweep against Solar Chelsea SC.

Next up for the Academy is a trip to Colorado the weekend of April 30-May 1 to face Real Colorado and Colorado Rush.
